When you’re pregnant, the flow of incoming advice is endless – and in spite of the fact that there’s nothing about pregnancy that’s particularly predictable! How we wish there was a rulebook for pregnancy, but sadly there isn’t any precise rulebook that includes all the points! But one thing you can totally rely on is your body. Just trust that your body will see you and your baby through. Here are a couple of ways to make the experience a little bit more comfortable.
Don’t massage your lower back
One common problem all pregnant women face is lower back pain. But that area is the link between your nerve and blood supply to the ovaries and uterus, hence that area strictly becomes a do-not-touch area until the end of pregnancy. Also, make it a point that you sleep on your side with a pillow between your knees to take any extra pressure off your lower back. Say goodbye to back ache.
Massage with almond oil
Beat stretch marks in advance against by slathering yourself in sweet almond oil at every opportunity. After you are done with your morning routine, use ample amounts of sweet almond oil on your belly, thighs and breasts. Beautiful pregnancy body, here I come!
Spend your maximum time in water
No matter where—your bathtub, a pool, or the sea, make water your best friend. Pro-pregnancy tip: water is your ultimate savior! As the pressure against your belly equalizes and you feel weightless when in water, it also calms the baby. Also, you can’t deny the fact that the crowd that hangs out at the pool tend to be so kind and sweet when you’re pregnant!
Stick to a fiber-rich diet
It’s really difficult to resist all the random cravings of food when you’re pregnant. And it is irritating as you are piling on the kilos, even if you’re exercising. This means an anti-inflammatory diet is more important than ever! Consume lots of Almond milk as it is filled with fibre. From the very beginning of your pregnancy, remind yourself that you don’t need a ton of food to sustain your baby but only healthy food such as fibre rich Almond milk to do so.
Your eating choices can help in digestion….
Almonds, bananas, oats, brown rice, etc. are certain foods that will get your digestive system going. Grapefruit can be a magical cure for that mysterious mouth-watering nausea in early pregnancy—and it will also improve your appetite and relieve indigestion. Also make it a habit of drinking warm water with lemon as first thing in the morning and with ginger tea all day, as both of them help with digestion issues and morning sickness.
So all you to-be-mummies, include lots and lots of fiber, vitamins and minerals in the form of almond, meat, poultry, fish, eggs, beans, tofu, cheese, milk, nuts, etc to support your baby’s healthy growth. And if you just don’t like the smell f the Dairy milk, you can just have Almond Milk instead!
